The Coma Recut

The Coma Recut is a remastered version of a Korean classic survival horror game. Coma is developed by Devespresso Games. The plot follows a High School student named Yongho, who grades are very bad before exams. One day, Youngho was called for after school studies from Ms. Song. Later on meets a unknown student named Yaesol. Yaesol tells Youngho that something weird is about to go on. Youngho falls asleep in class and things turn for the worst. Now, Youngho have to survive a alternate reality where Ms. Song is a slasher. Players mush find all clues to escape this alternate realty created by Yaesol. You can interact with object, hide from zombified Ms. Song and etc. Be careful not to make a too much of a sound. If that happens Ms. Song will come after you. Players have to explore all Sehwa High School.

Youngho can buy items to replenish stamina and heath from vendor machines. There is some pop culture reference like Terminator. You can roll and cover your mouth for stealth. Youngho can collect coins to buy items and read dairy. Overall, The Coma Recut is a game that players feel stuck sometimes. You can use the D-pad to figure out main objective like finding keys. You will meet characters in the alternate dimension. The Coma Recut have new features such as rolling, new hiding mechanic and updated art style. I enjoy playing The Coma and very suspenseful title. Graphics is comic-book style and intense moments while hiding from the killer. The Coma Recut gives you chills and want to leave school. Infinite Adventures

Infinite Adventures is a dungeon crawler indie game developed by Stormseeker Games. The overall concept of Infinite Adventures is you are a traveler that goes on missions. Players can create a hero with races and archetypes. Also players can choose their personalities and voices. You can form or create your own party members. Select your classes with different abilities that fit your playstyle. Once you create your hero male or female, whatever you decide. Players can go on missions, taverns and dungeons that are procedurally generated. There are over 260 skills and 24 summons to master. Talk to 40 NPCs with full voiced actors. Note: you have to recruit 6 members for dungeons. During battle, you have to face enemies in different ways. For example, if you have a sword fight enemies on the front. Bow and arrow can defeat enemies in the back.

Players can switch between style during combat. You can attack, defend and use special skills called Kessen. Upgrade your hero with skill points to get stronger. Your hero have passive, skill tree and equipment to expand. Face off against bosses and learn the dark secrets of the Labyrinth. Infinite Adventures is an amazing rpg with beautiful art style. Stellar animation and amazing voice acting. I am loving the blend with 2D sprites and 3D backgrounds. The game definitely have replay value. It gives player a lot of control with character creation. Use strategy to plan your attack on enemies. Subtle soundtrack and challenging missions. This is the first rpg that allows player to create their own party. Instead of meeting party member like Final Fantasy and other rpg games. Infinite Adventures will keep rpg fans entertain for while. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

What is DeathComing?

DeathComing is a non-linear Final Destination indie puzzle game. You are collecting souls for the Grim Reaper. Blending with Isometric and top-down perspective camera work. The goal of the game is collect as many souls to win. Compete objective kills and execute your plans. While you are reaper’s little pet. Players can interact with environments to cause deaths. Be careful victims will panic and run away from danger. DeathComing teaches you the ropes like chaining death combos. There are called “Death Trap” and you get points for them. Death traps can be activated by clicking on certain ones. Don’t worry if you are stuck. There is a hint button to tell where they’re. Each act gives you three objective kills. If you complete three objective kills. The player can win the level. Deathcoming have a sense of crude humor. It’s like you’re playing god.

The game is over the top black comedy. DeathComing have well-depth character sprites and graphics. There is some lewd humor like spying on aliens. The death dialogue is funny and depressing in a way. I really love this game in a nutshell. Playing the reaper is never good or bad. The controls are simple and easy to learn. DeathComing has vast playability with a casual tone. You control the fate of people. Gathering souls might be evil and causing someone demise. The reaper is the good guy. A agent of light is the antagonist of the game. If you’re a causal gamer and love crude humor. I would give this game a try. DeathComing is available now on Steam.

What is The Angel Inn?

The Angel Inn is a visual novel indie game developed by DdreamGames. These are the markers of Dungeon Dreams video game. The plot of the game is you are a traveling Swordsmen hired to be a bodyguard for Merchant’s Guild. You Stumbleupon The Angel Inn where you meet a pretty girl named Shea. Shea is the owner and caretaker of The Angel Inn. Not only you meet Shea, there is another adventurer named Faylin. Faylin is a typical tsundere personality and a sharp tongue. Rosebella is a musician and a noble woman who hate the Guild. Your adventure is in four days and it’s time to relax in The Angel Inn. The player choose to hang out with 3 girls and interact with them. There are 3 parts of the day.

Morning, evening and night, make sure you use them wisely. Note: this game for 18+ with lewd dialogue and content. The Angel Inn have 5 multiple endings and different character route in-game. Artstyle of The Angel Inn is very clean and elegant piece. Soundtrack is very chill and relaxing while staying at The Angel Inn. I really enjoy the demo and can’t wait for the full version. What is SpiritSphere?

Hello readers it’s been a while since I did a indie game hands on post. We will explore two games SpiritSphere and Meme Machine. These games play very causal and fans will love these titles. SpiritSphere is a ping-pong Windjammers indie game developed by Eendhoorn Games. The game draws inspiration from Legend of Zelda due to top-down camera angle. Spiritsphere plays like air-hockey with local multiplayer. I wish there was online in this game. There is different game modes such play against cpu. Earn coins to get new spheres and Squash mode. Squash mode is each player has a turn to hit the wall. Although if it’s not your turn, the other player scores. Players can choose up to 4 players for team match. If you don’t want to play with a partner. Go head to head with your friend.

The main goal of SpiritSphere is to get the sphere on the other player side. Simple enough right but wait there is more. There are different items and powerup to give player a edge. SpiritSphere features a small roster of characters but more will come. The game graphic is NES 8-bit style with eccentric soundtrack. The game is easy to pick for newcomers and veterans. Each character have unique abilities for knocking spheres. My thoughts on SpiritSphere as a whole. The game is very fun arcade-ish with retro value. NES fans will feel right at home with this. Grab a buddy and talk trash with this indie game. Make sure you get SpiritSphere on Steam and Nintendo Switch.
