F-Zero GP Legend is not a bad show but have pacing issues sometimes. The format of the show is story than racing sequence. Sometimes it switches back and forth within a minute. It confuse me sometimes but still enjoyable to watch. Ashi Production is involved in this show but animation very average. Racing vehicles have CGI blended with 2D animation. It was an nice touch but wondering if they were 2D. I am guessing they’re talking Initial D route style animation. F-Zero GP Legend is faithful to the source material. Mute City theme was played during early episodes of the show. Soundtrack is very futuristic just like the game. The series have some dry humor and intended for younger audience. There is some guns and death in this TV series.  Captain Falcon informs kids to distance themselves from TV.

There was another Nintendo show, Kirby Right Back at Ya that aired on 4Kids. F-Zero GP Legend was on 4Kids as well but watched Japanese Dubbed. The show have 50 episodes which are not going to get though. I just want to give my opinion of this anime. If you are a fan of the show, give it a watch. Don’t worry Captain Falcon shines in this anime. I was hoping Ryu would be in next F-Zero video game. Note: There is a F-Zero GP Legend video game on Game Boy Advance available now. You might play F-Zero on Nintendo Switch on Virtual Console as well. Remember give the show a test run and find out.
