Infinity Blade is a action role laying game developed by Epic Games. For before I start talking about Infinity Blade, Note: This is second writing request I got from this website. First request was about Save Sam Nishimura from the Tomb Raider series (I will upload that back up after this. These requests will not have a YouTube video created by me. Although I will be doing a YouTube short about readers and other bloggers requesting blogposts. In exchange for collaboration and being featured on my blog. I will gave you a shoutout or link your website and other social media platforms. Due to not accepting guest blog post, I trying a new way to collab with other bloggers. There is some rules about that it’s has to be video gaming related not nothing outside of that.
That’s all I am asking and not doing freelance what so ever. I like to give a shoutout to Isabella Anderson for the writing pitch and request. Make sure to check out her website besttechguides.com. Isabella does tech and does co-exist with gaming, I have done some tech products on this website. You can check them out on your own if you like that is. Back on topic, Infinity Blade plot is about a warrior avenging his father death in the hand of the God King. In my opinion, I will try to explain the story best way I can. There is a supernatural weapon all Infinity Blade who is crafted by The Worker. Infinity Blade holds tremendous power even becoming immoral and becoming god. You fight beings called “Deathless” and have your memory wipe out.
In Infinity Blade gameplay wise, there is limited but easy for beginners. The game has a point and click mechanic, where players can touch the screen at any place. Players earn gold and exp to upgrade your equipment. Leveling up is a big thing in role playing games nowadays and in the past. You fight your own through waves of enemies until you fight off against final boss. Once you beat the game, there is new game mode where you lose all your equipment. The first game had little story but it’s a revenge plot about avenging your dad’s death. If you want to a complete timeline of Infinity Blade. Go to Epic Games Infinity Blade page to see complete timeline of the series. I would have to say Infinity Blade reminds me a bit of Assassin Creed and The Matrix. Due to being a virtual reality which you die or be reborn.
During combat, it’s very simple for beginners to get a grasp of what’s in-store. All you have to do is dodge, parry and attack. What’s that reminds you of? Nintendo Super Punch Out, I don’t know you will get the idea. The game does has a bit of quicktime events and fully voiced cutscenes. During story, you will find redemption or fall into grace throughout your quest. The game has voice actors who put on a stellar performance like Laura Bailey, Troy Baker and Jim Cummings. You might know some familiar voices in the game, which you don’t see in most mobile games. The game uses unreal engine for 3D environments and smooth gameplay. Sometimes combat does feel like rock, paper and scissors in some way. You will get the overall picture on what’s the game about.
Will Get another Sequel?
Well I have to say no because Epic Games pull the game from it’s app stores. Due to not being compatible with updated engine for mobile devices. Epic games can’t continue with the series but who knows. They might do a remastered version if there is a demand for it. Plus, Infinity Blade III is the final game of the series. I am thinking Epic Games will not make another one but I might be wrong. The series has alot of story and I am not trying to spoil it for readers. Like I stated early in my post, I know some characters like Worker and Cyrus. I forgot to mention another game Dark Souls which is little similar to this game. Hacking and slashing never been so easy in a mobile game. I can see this game being on PC. The game has positive reception among critics like IGN and USA Today.
Epic games work alongside of Chair Entertainment to work on this game. I don’t play alot of mobile game but I glad this caught my attention. Modern day mobile games program to feel like a pc gamer in your fingertips. For beginners of the game, it will take time to learn the lore. Sometimes it does feel repetitive went fighting enemies using same finishing slashes all the time. Players might feel like it’s stuck in a standstill and no flare. You will be rewarded for your progression to the main story. You are armed with your sword and shield to defeat a dragon. The game does take place in the future in the Infinity Blade II. It uses Japanese and Medevil motifs in there games. I like their take on fantasy and remain futuristic setting which brings the game to life.
Sorry I don’t have much knowledge about the game with a conducting story that some can’t comprehend. It’s sad that the game is put off the shelves from app store. I would love to check out the game on my own. Well I don’t know how to stream the game on Twitch but could record for YouTube or social media. If you want to know what platform Infinity Blade is on. It’s on IOS not Android sadly but it’s gone now. Again I want to thank Isabella for the writing pitch and I will upload Tomb Raider one as well. Chair Entertainment might revisit this IP and find a way to incorporated the game with latest hardware. The game looks great and easy to play for newcomers like me.
